Welcome to the 2024 Summer Institute: Building Bridges to Positive Behavior!
We are thrilled to welcome you to this year’s Summer Institute, where educators, support staff, and community members come together to enhance our collective efforts in fostering positive behavior and student success. Our theme, "Building Bridges to Positive Behavior," reflects our commitment to creating a supportive, inclusive, and thriving learning environment for all students & staff.
Throughout the institute, you have opportunities to participate in engaging sessions, hands-on workshops, and collaborative discussions. These sessions will equip you with practical strategies, innovative tools, and valuable insights to support student behavior and personal well-being.
Whether you are here to learn about trauma-informed practices, inclusive classroom setups, assistive technology, self- regulation, or any other enriching topics, we are confident that you will be inspired and empowered to make a lasting impact on your educational community.
Thank you for joining us on this journey towards building a brighter future for our students. Let’s connect, learn, and grow together!
Warm regards,
Student Intervention Services

Wednesday July 17, 2024 9:20am - 10:50am CDT
(Suggested for those who work with students with EBD) Join us for an engaging workshop designed to equip educators with the tools and knowledge to implement Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) Nurture Groups in their classrooms. The goal of nurture groups is to help children gain the necessary skills to build healthy attachment: the ability to give/receive care, negotiate needs, and be their autonomous selves. Learn how to implement the six parts of nurture groups and gain practical ideas for utilizing them in school. Each participant will walk away with ten ready to use TBRI® nurture group lesson plans.
